Class I mare by Babar, out of Assagais Gemini xx, a TB mare bred by Pembroke Farm. Assagais Gemini’s dam was the highest scoring mare in gaits at her 1988 Holsteiner inspection site. She and her offspring have been valuable breeding stock for Pembroke Farm producing correct elegant types with wonderful temperament and work ethics. Assagais Gemini is the type of athletic TB welcomed into any sport horse breeding program. Apogee is a valued dam who is producing excellent offspring. Her first offspring Apollonia received a double diploma in gaits and in jumping, earning a 9 for her trot. Her second offspring, Wasabi, became an approved SWB stallion in 2005, and he too earned a 9 for his trot. Don Perigee, a gelding out of Apogee by Don Primero, scored a 10 on his trot and a 9 on his canter as a 3 year old. Her filly Au Clair, scored a9 on her type and a 9 on her trot as a yearling. Her colt Wi-Fi, is a full sibling to Wasabi and is a Class I colt. APogee is in foal to the Swedish stallion Rambo for 2008.
